Purcellville Parade

Purcellville Parade

WLGSL Parents,

The Western Loudoun Girls Softball League is excited to announce that we will once again participate in the Purcellville Independence Day Parade!!

The Parade will be held Saturday, June 27th, 11am. This is one of the largest events held in Purcellville throughout the year and we would like to invite our players to ride on the WLGSL float or walk along with it. Please wear good walking shoes!

We will meet by Blue Ridge Middle School (551 E. A St, Purcellville) at around 9:00am to catch up with friends and get ready for the parade. Please wear your WLGSL jersey or spirit wear and add any Red, White, and Blue accessories you choose! Road closures begin around 10:30am, so plan accordingly for drop-off. We have a bunch of candy to hand out to kids along the parade route, but feel free to bring some of your own!

The parade will start at Blue Ridge Middle School around 11:00am and finish at Blue Ridge Middle School around 12:15pm.

We are in need of a truck and/or trailer!  If you are willing to drive your truck, or able to offer your trailer, email:  president@wlgsl.org

Parents are also encouraged to walk along with us to help manage the crowd, especially if your daughter is in the 6U/8U/10U age groups!

Sincerely,

WLGSL
